Appointments
Office hours are by appointment only. There are three types of appointments: an 80 minute Psychiatric Evaluation, a 50-53 minute Psychotherapy Appointment, and a 25 minute Medication Check. People often make very rapid progress with intensive psychotherapy, and so we may schedule longer therapy sessions on a case by case basis. Telehealth appointments are available at https://doxy.me/dryeni The first appointment must be held in-person.
Fees
My practice is primarily fee for service. I accept payment for my services directly, either by check, cash, or Zelle to helen@dryeni.com. Please call me at 650-223-3336 to discuss my fees.
Many people are able to obtain some reimbursement for my services from their insurance provider. Call your insurance company to ask what your "out of network benefit" is. At the end of the month, I provide a statement that includes all information necessary for you to submit to your insurer.
Insurance
I have accepted Cardinal Care, the insurance for Stanford students, since opening my practice. As of September 2023, Cardinal Care has changed from Health Net to Aetna. I am still in the process of getting in-network for Aetna and am unable to accept new Cardinal Care patients until this process is complete. For Stanford Medical Residents and Fellows, I will submit claims to Aetna on your behalf and there is no co-pay.
Cancellation Policy
Missed appointments and those canceled with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full fee for missed service. You may choose to have a phone or video session if you are not able to come into the office.
Open Payments Notice (required by California law)
The Open Payments database is a federal tool used to search payments made by drug and device companies to physicians and teaching hospitals. It can be found at openpaymentsdata.cms.gov For informational purposes only, a link to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Open Payments web page is provided here. The federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires that detailed information about payment and other payments of value worth over ten dollars ($10) from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics to physicians and teaching hospitals be made available to the public.
